Team rff on the starting line for the corporate run in Bremen

Following a four-year break, on 9 May the time had come again. Together with 7,500 other runners, the rff team ran the course around the Weserstadion in Bremen. The event was characterised by team spirit across all hierarchies.

At the end of the day’s work, it was time to pull on running gear and meet up with colleagues in front of Bremen’s Weserstadion. This form of evening event was no doubt unfamiliar to the around 20 employees participating in the B2Run corporate run, but exciting and motivating nonetheless.

The group then headed off to the 6.3-kilometre course around the Weserstadion, with the numerous spectators and musicians along the route and the entry into the stadium itself making for a wonderful experience. “Everyone gave their all and put in maximum effort. It’s great to be able to participate in this event again after a break of four years. The positive mood reflected this,” said Holger Bellersen, an “old hand” competing in his sixth race.

Team spirit and interaction across all levels are what characterise this event. In addition to managing director Jörg Delveaux, numerous colleagues from a range of departments – with the warehouse especially well represented – took part, avidly sharing their experiences after the race over alcohol-free beer and bratwurst. This relaxed interaction and the communal after-work activity are themselves sufficient reason to head back to the course again next year.
